I've 'rediscovered' doodling/tangling this month. This 8"x10" piece began as a very smudgy Gelli print that was supposed to have some stenciling on it. It ended up in my 'reject' pile.  Just for fun I started to doodle in the spaces that didn't pick up paint. This didn't seem to 'fix' the mess so I drew some vertical tangle stacks around the doodles. I got out the coloured pencils & added more colour to the white/smudgy areas & played with some shading. Adding more colour is something I'm really enjoying lately. This is so unlike my usual black, white & grey.  I posted this piece in a Facebook group I belong to (Zentangle: Stacked and Tangled) and through the comments was reminded that there are no 'rejects'.  Lesson learned: everything is a work in progress.
